The Central and State Governments offer various scholarships to support talented students facing financial difficulties pursuing undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses.

- Scholarships are distributed through banks. To apply, you'll need a savings bank account linked to your Aadhaar in a nationalized, scheduled, or commercial bank with an IFSC code. Submit an attested copy of your bank account details with your scholarship application.
- You can apply for multiple scholarships, but if selected, you can only receive one scholarship at a time.

- E-Grantz
The SC/ST department offers fee concession to students studying in plus two, degree, post-graduation courses belonging to OBC, KPCR with annual income below 1 lakh. There is no income limit for SC/ST, OEC students for receiving fee concession. The students should apply online for the E-grantz from the Akshaya Centres (www.egrantz.kerala.gov.in) and the copy of the same along with income certificate, community certificate, copy of the savings bank passbook and Aadhaar card should be submitted to the head of the institution. SC/ST/ OEC/OBC (H) Students who stay in hostels will be granted hostel charges. The SC/ST/OEC/OBC (H) Students will be granted course fee LSG & Stipend. LSG Degree Rs. 1400/-, PG Rs. 1,900/-, Stipent > 8km Rs. 900/-, < 8km Rs. 800.
- Post Matric Scholarship
This scholarship is offered by the central government, Ministry of Minority Welfare, for Muslim, Christian students studying degree, PG, M.Phil., Ph.D. courses. The applications will be invited in July–August. Students with the annual income below 2 lakhs and having marks above 50% are eligible to apply. For details, please visit www.scholarships.gov.in. - Chief Minister (CM) Merit Scholarship
This is a scholarship of Rs. 1 lakh each to meritorious undergraduate students who are economically backward. This scheme is coming under Chief Minister’s ten items programmes.
