The event was a heartfelt tribute to the outgoing batch, celebrating their journey, achievements, and contributions to the departmen

The session was highly interactive, with students actively participating in discussions and asking insightful questions. Mr. Garil Michael provided valuable career guidance and shared industry insights that helped students understand the skills needed to succeed in IT.

The Department of Computer Science at Taliparamba Arts and Science College successfully hosted the Freshers’ Party 2024 – Aetherium on 14th August 2024. The event was organized to welcome the new batch of students with enthusiasm, fostering friendships and a sense of belonging within the department. The Freshers’ Party 2024 – Aetherium was a grand success, leaving freshers with unforgettable memories and a warm welcome to their academic journey. The event fostered a spirit of camaraderie and set a positive tone for the years ahead.

The second phase of the Placement Drive 2024 was successfully conducted at Taliparamba Arts and Science College in association with DataPower Technologies Pvt Ltd. The event aimed to provide career opportunities for BSc Computer Science graduates by connecting them with potential employers.
The company representatives presented an overview of DataPower Technologies, highlighting career growth opportunities, work culture, and job expectations. The Second Phase Placement Drive 2024 was a successful initiative in bridging the gap between academia and industry. It provided students with an excellent platform to kickstart their professional journeys. Taliparamba Arts and Science College expresses gratitude to DataPower Technologies Pvt Ltd for their collaboration and looks forward to future placement opportunities.

The Inaugural Ceremony of the Four-Year Undergraduate Program (FYUGP) was successfully conducted on 1st July 2024 at the Taliparamba Arts and Science College auditorium. The event marked the beginning of a transformative academic journey under the new curriculum, aimed at providing holistic and flexible education to students.

As part of the 100 Days Special Awareness Programme for Gender Sensitization Week, Taliparamba Arts and Science College, Kanhirangad, in collaboration with the District Women and Child Development Office, Kannur, organized a special session on Gender Sensitization on 4th September 2024. The session was held in the college’s Seminar Hall at 10:30 AM.

The resource person, Mr. Shyjith Karuvakode, Director of Excellent Training Academy, led the session and shared crucial insights on the importance of gender equality, addressing stereotypes, and fostering mutual respect across all genders. The session was a key part of the broader efforts to promote gender awareness and inclusivity among the college students.

A large number of students from the NSS (National Service Scheme) participated actively in the session. Their engagement in the discussions highlighted the importance of the topic and the eagerness to contribute towards a more gender-sensitive society. Mr. Karuvakode emphasized the role young people can play in challenging existing norms and promoting gender equity.

The event was supported by SANKALP: Hub for Empowerment of Women, adding further significance to the college’s commitment to empowering students with knowledge and creating awareness around gender-related issues.

A workshop titled “LED Bulb Making” was organized by the ED Club of Taliparamba Arts & Science College, Kanhirangad on 25th September 2024. The session was conducted by Vijina C, a resource person from the Malabar Training Institute, and took place in Room No. 58 of the college at 10:00 AM. The workshop was highly successful, providing valuable insights into LED technology and inspiring students to consider energy efficiency and sustainability as key factors in their future endeavors.

Taliparamba Arts and Science College successfully conducted its Convocation Ceremony for the Class of 2024 on July 3, 2024. The event was a grand celebration of academic achievements, attended by graduates, their families, faculty members, and esteemed guests. The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Dr. T. P. Ashraf, Syndicate Member of Kannur University and Principal of Keyi Sahib Training College, Taliparamba.
