          The Department of Physics was started in the year 2002. It was upgraded to a PG department in 2006.At the undergraduate level, the department offers a course that combines the study of physics with complementary electives in Chemistry and Mathematics.This interdisciplinary approach provides students with a well-rounded education, equipping them with a strong foundation in physics principles as well as the necessary knowledge in related scientific disciplines.
