Profile
The Department of History was established in 2002. Department’s commitment to fostering not only historical knowledge but also critical thinking, ethical behavior, and responsible citizenship in a diverse and interconnected world.
Vision
- To help students understand how to live meaningful lives as responsible citizens by bringing the stories of the past to life and shedding light on the realities of the present.
Mission
- The department places a strong emphasis on moral and cultural values in order to impart the priceless lessons of history in a most liberal and creative manner. The goal of the entire teaching and learning process is to provide the students a deeper comprehension of societal issues so they may become more adaptive to the complexity of a plural society.
