On March 13, 2024, the Department of Computer Science & Application at Taliparamba Arts and Science College organized an industrial visit to Mizone Technology Park in Mangattuparambu, Kannur. The visit was attended by 91 students, comprising first-year BSc Computer Science and BCA students, as well as second-year BSc Computer Science students. The highlight of the visit was a session on Startups & Skill Development led by Mr. Subhash Babu K, Director of Mizone, where students gained valuable insights into the practical applications of AI and its significance in today's digital landscape. Additionally, representatives from Btrac Software Company shared their knowledge, further enriching the students' understanding of technology. The visit concluded with a campus exploration, allowing students to immerse themselves in the innovative environment of Mizone. Overall, the industrial visit provided students with a holistic perspective on technology and entrepreneurship, inspiring them to explore innovative career paths in the field of computer science.
